The Garfield Camp would like to welcome Daniel Brady and Robert Stofko to the camp!  Daniel’s great-great-grandfather, Peter Brady, served as a private in Company A of the 3rd New Jersey Infantry.  Robert’s great-grandfather, Lemuel Stillions, was in the 97th Ohio Infantry, serving as a private in Company A.

The Garfield Camp would like to welcome Marcellus Gilreath and Hugh Roberts to the Camp!  Marcellus’s great-greatgrandfather was Benjamin Perry Gilreath who served in Company A of the 1st Tennessee Scouts and Guides.  Hugh’s great-greatgrandfather, William Dickerhoof, served as a musician in Company E of the 61st Ohio Volunteer Infantry.

The Garfield Camp would like to welcome John Hofstetter to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.  John’s Great-Great Grandfather Milton Holder served as a private in Company G of the 58th Indiana Volunteer Infantry.  John’s Great-Great-Great Grandfather Isaac L. Skinner served as a musician in Company D of the 23rd Illinois Volunteer Infantry and his Great-Great-Great Grandfather David Furnas served in Company I of the 85th Indiana Volunteer Infantry as a sergeant and later served as Quartermaster Sergeant of the regiment.

The Garfield Camp would like to welcome Gary Porter to the camp.  Gary’s great-great-grandfather, George Milton Rabbit, served as a private in the 1st West Virginia Light Artillery .  He enlisted on August 30, 1862 and was honorably discharged on June 27, 1865.  Welcome to the camp Gary!

The Garfield Camp would like to welcome Kenneth Wilford, Lance Beebe, William Kennedy and Gilbert Sanow to the Camp!

Kenneth’s ancestor was Edward Soden, who served as a quartermaster sergeant in the 6th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry.

Lance’s great-great-grandfather was Corporal Jacob H. Weis of Company I, 3rd Ohio Volunteer Cavalry.

William’s great-great-grandfather, Ebenezer Hillis Kennedy, served as a Captain in Company F of the 10th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry.

Gilbert had two great-great-grandfathers serve in the war.  Private Daniel Sanders served in Company I of the 203rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry and Private Jacob Cassatt II was with Company C of the 74th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
